Assfalg Today

Today we are a wholesaler and manufacturer of our own products, both in an extended workbench and in-house. The family-run company is now in its 4th generation, because Christian Assfalg, the great-grandson of the company founder, will lead the company in the future.

We score with countless innovative and patented products in the magnetic clamping and lifting sector. Countless national sponsorship projects allow us to develop innovative products in accordance with customer requirements so that they can produce up-to-date technology in an efficient manner. Progress

Günther Assfalg, the father of the current managing director Ronald Assfalg, started

with Magnetic Technology in the 1970’s.

Assfalg is currently a modern, qualified manufacturer and merchant in the magnetic lifting and clamping technology with a worldwide presence. Assfalg develops and produces products both for the standard industry as well as for individual customized requirements for their customers in the magnetic clamping and lifting technology.

In the 1990’s, the Vibratory Finishing Machines

were added to the machine portfolio as another intelligent and efficient solution. In addition to “automatic” deburring, these machines also offer the advantage of processing small and large series at once.

The Beginning

The company history of

Assfalg began in 1932

when Karl Assfalg, the grandfather of the current managing director Dipl.Wirt. -Ing. Ronald Assfalg and great-grandfather of the future managing director Christian Assfalg, founded the company as a wholesale firm in Lorch in Remstal close to Stuttgart. It all started with tools that were urgently needed after the war. The need for tools and tool machines was very diverse in the metal processing industry and Assfalg included deburring and contour machines in his program.
The cornerstone was laid in the chamfering and deburring technology, because technical requirements and specializations for machines prevailed.

1975

Assfalg needed more space and thus, a new operating facility was built for the ever-growing company, in Schwaebisch Gmuend.
